My first major project for the degree introduced the art of performing to a live audience called 'Reverie'. For this gig, I was apart of a band called "mood." which produced a contemporary R&B and groove sound. During the lead up to the gig itself, it had established a number of aspects surrounding the bands brand through aesthetic, music, performance and collaboration.

Preparing to perform at my first ever gig was an experience that was exciting as well as challenging. I was able to gain insight on how I wanted to be portrayed as an artist in the near future. I learnt many aspects that will come in handy for myself. My band was able to form our aesthetic through mood boards for our live show and a concept within the music.

Collaboration was vital for this project in relation to the lyrics and music itself in which we bounced ideas off of each other. It had inspired my creativity and taught me to how to critique one another constructively. I got to network with other tech and industry students that could potentially support my upcoming projects.

I also gained more confidence in the performance category. My stage presence had been slowly developing by finding out ways that I could be comfortable on stage.
